我以为《*昨日重现*（禁书请删除）》就像《爱无止境》一样只是开始流行或流传于20世纪的90年代。许多年后，当我无意中再一次发现卡朋特，无意中发现她早已于1983年远离我们而去，早已香消玉殒于她的歌声的历史中时，不知道为什么，突然间心莫名地一阵抽搐，整个人开始莫名的伤神。

我以为卡朋特只属于20世纪90年代，以及以后,却不知她还属于很多年前的60年代70年代以及80年代早期. 上个世纪六十年代的美国校园里，正经历着其历史上最大一次代沟问题，正当许许多多的人因此而陷入空前无助和绝望的时候，卡朋特终于来了。带着她的歌，唱着“why do birds，suddenly appear，everytime you are near……”向他们走来，卡朋特以她的《Close to You》搭起了两代心灵之间的桥梁，成为人们心灵深处的救世主。这就是卡朋特，连歌声里都跳动着她的热爱生命与生活的心的卡朋特。

然而，上帝和生活却在她32岁那年剥夺了她的一切艺术与才华，包括生命。22年前的今天她就已离我们而去。只是在她的墓碑上还刻着“A star on earth，a star in heaven. A song for you”这样简单而令人伤怀的文字，却使人不忍回忆，不忍卒读的文字。

这首歌是我喜欢的比较轻快的一曲，曾是上海生活时尚频道《Super Model》的主题音乐。让音乐冲淡这缕忧伤。
